Why We Built This Site
Nebraska makes many court records publicly accessible, but the right route depends on the case. In Stanton County, District Court keeps its own records while County Court and Traffic Court keep the files for traffic, misdemeanors, small claims, probate, many juvenile matters, municipal-ordinance cases, and qualifying county civil matters. The official Nebraska JUSTICE One-Time Court Case Search brings searchable trial-court information together, but it does not replace the clerk who holds the file.
The official term for the chronological case history is the Register of Actions, or ROA. A case summary, a court calendar, a document image, an ordinary copy, and a certified copy are not interchangeable. Stanton County has no separate public county clerk search database in the reviewed sources, so accurate routing matters when a record is older, not scanned, restricted, or needed in certified form.
What You Will Find Here
The site organizes the official Stanton County court routes by the task a reader needs to complete.
- Case lookup: use Case Lookup for party-name and case-number search paths through Nebraska JUSTICE.
- Court dates: use Court Dates for the Nebraska Multi-Court Case Calendar and clerk-confirmation routes.
- Docket types: use Criminal Docket Search and Civil Docket Search to identify the right Stanton court and case record.
- File copies: use Court Record Search for ordinary and certified-copy steps, forms, fees, and restricted-record limits.
Stanton is the county seat. The local courthouse is at 804 Ivy Street, but the court offices use different post-office boxes and phone numbers. The pages distinguish those offices so a request can reach the clerk who keeps the case.
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference resource. It is not part of the Nebraska Judicial Branch, Stanton County government, District Court, County Court, or either clerk's office. Official court action and official court records must come from the court that holds the case.
- We cannot retrieve an official Stanton County court file or Register of Actions for a reader.
- We cannot change, continue, reset, or otherwise alter a court date or hearing.
- We cannot remove, amend, unseal, or seal a court record.
- We cannot issue a certified copy of a filing, order, judgment, or docket record.
- We cannot provide legal advice about a case, citation, filing, or court procedure.
- We cannot guarantee a current fee, court setting, or clerk availability without an official confirmation.
Only the clerk or court that holds a Stanton County case can provide an official record or a certified copy. For a County Court or Traffic Court file, contact Katherine Armbruster; for a District Court file, contact Wanda Heermann.
Search Partners
Some pages include search boxes operated by third-party providers. Those providers set their own service terms, pricing, and result practices. A paid registration or transaction through a provider may produce referral revenue for this privately run resource. That revenue supports the site, but it does not control a provider's prices or results.
The official Nebraska court route remains separate: Nebraska JUSTICE, the state calendar, and the Stanton clerks are the sources for court case information, official records, and local case questions. Public access also remains subject to sealed, juvenile, protected, and otherwise restricted-record rules.
