Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or case number entered into a search tool is sent to the third-party provider that operates that tool. The provider processes the request and returns its results. Stanton County Court Docket does not store or log the search terms entered through those tools.
Messages and Contact Submissions
When a visitor sends an email, the message is retained so a response can be made. It remains within the organization unless disclosure is required by a legal obligation.
Data We Gather Automatically
Routine site operation can collect technical details associated with a visit, including the following information:
- Page-view timestamps
- The referring site, when one is available
- Pages viewed and the time spent on them
- Browser type and version
- Device type and operating system
- The IP address assigned to the device
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files stored on a device that help measure site use, such as which pages receive traffic and where visitors stop. Analytics services aggregate that activity. Browser controls can block cookies, though some site functions may work differently when cookies are disabled.
What We Do With This Data
Limited visitor data is used to operate and improve the resource.
- Maintain site availability and loading performance
- Direct search requests to the appropriate partner service
- Identify and correct technical problems
- Measure which information readers use most often
- Display advertising that may reflect visitor interests
No Court-Record Data on File
Stanton County Court Docket does not host, maintain, compile, or sell a database of court dockets or personal case-record information. It publishes general routing information for the Stanton District Court, Stanton County Court, Nebraska JUSTICE, and the official record-request process. The public electronic-access framework for court information is found in Nebraska's Article 8 rules, while the Nebraska Public Records Act, ยงยง84-712 through 84-712.04, provides a separate public-records framework for public bodies.
Neither authority makes every court paper public. Sealed, juvenile, protected, confidential, and otherwise restricted material remains subject to law, rule, or court order. This private resource is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and it does not assemble visitor information into consumer reports or third-party records.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes used on some pages. Information entered into those tools is governed by the provider's own privacy policy, retention rules, and sharing practices. Stanton County Court Docket does not control those policies. Review a provider's terms before submitting a search.
Links to Other Websites
The resource links to official clerk pages, Nebraska court portals, statutes, and other outside services. Once a visitor follows an external link, that destination's privacy policy governs the new visit. Read the destination policy before providing personal information.
Advertising partners can collect activity across websites to deliver targeted advertising. That activity is handled through their systems, not through a court file or the Stanton County clerks.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. Information may be disclosed only to the following categories when applicable:
- Search partners that process a query submitted through their tools
- Analytics services used for traffic and performance measurement
- Advertising networks that place advertising on the site
- Law-enforcement or government bodies responding to a valid legal order
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable standard security practices are used to protect collected data. Internet-connected systems cannot guarantee complete security, however, and no promise can be made that a breach will never occur.
Users Under 18
This resource is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from people under 18. If a minor's information has been sent to the site, contact the organization and the information will be deleted promptly.
Your Data Rights
Additional privacy or consumer-protection rights can depend on where a visitor lives. For official court and county records, Article 8 and the Nebraska Public Records Act govern public access, while court records also remain subject to the protected-information rule and applicable restrictions. Those public-record rules do not convert this private resource into a government records custodian. At a minimum, a visitor may:
- Request a copy of information held about that visitor
- Ask for correction of information that is inaccurate
- Request deletion of information held about that visitor
- Opt out of certain types of data processing
Updates to This Policy
This policy may be revised in the future. A revised version will be posted here with a new effective date so visitors can review the current handling practices.
Effective date: August 29, 2026
